That is all I am pointing out...still very interesting...and a special thanks to the humanity of Dave W and Chris...

ReineUnknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05451069744243203851noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5853521447761375706.post-45461241261334883522010-06-03T23:07:54.908+10:002010-06-03T23:07:54.908+10:00If nothing else, you have proved that while Bligh ...If nothing else, you have proved that while Bligh was a brilliant seaman, he was also VERY, VERY, VERY LUCKY...

Great seamanship does help to create some of that luck and I believe you have demonstrated that also.

JohnQueenslanderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17809612399520956469noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5853521447761375706.post-23886903929895314182010-06-03T19:14:40.953+10:002010-06-03T19:14:40.953+10:00I actually found Jessica's blog from your webs...I actually found Jessica's blog from your website, when you had the eating race, and started following her adventure from then on also.

You are all an inspiration!!

Hal (UK)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5853521447761375706.post-50680547546239325492010-06-03T18:21:20.817+10:002010-06-03T18:21:20.817+10:00All good Don! Wow....I absolutely can not wait for your book!!!!! Wow... what an extraordinary adventure you are having. You have all inspired me to loose 30kgs and take that research trip to the Antarctic that I have always dreamed of.
PS I am particularly enjoying Dave W’s honest and painful descriptions about how futile the difficult times seem. (I can imagine thinking, what the hell am I doing this for when I have a comfortable life back home) Don I find your common sense approach to accept what is, very calming and reassuring. As already pointed out, you have experienced the rewards of following through until the end. Dear Dave P and Chris… are getting on with the adventure of a life time. Well done to you all.

Fair winds and Godspeed.
SandraAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5853521447761375706.post-74291857771340583882010-06-03T00:00:35.710+10:002010-06-03T00:00:35.710+10:00to you brave men, we wish fair wind and courage, o...to you brave men, we wish fair wind and courage, our hearts are with you from WA.try to rest before the next leg of the journey, king neptune will behave you far to great sailors for him not too.Fair winds and sails. I found you from Jessica's blog when you and Mike had the eating race with her one day. Have enjoyed following along. I do not fault you at all to use modern equipment as Bligh would have done the same thing if he'd have had them. His was an emergency with the mutiny--yours was planned and it would have been foolish to not have the safety precautions. I'm glad Dave is continuing on with you, as I think he would have felt disappointed with himself when he'd have returned home. We wish you Godspeed and are sending up prayers for you!
Kathy,USAAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
